General

  • All of the cakes are made fresh to order
  • A minimum of 2 weeks notice for celebration cakes and 8 weeks notice for wedding cakes is requested.
  • I will always confirm your order in writing.� I would ask that you check this confirmation and inform me if anything is incorrect.
  • Specialist cake stands and sliver cake knives can be hired at an additional cost.� The stands also require a returnable �100 cheque deposit.� Please contact me for specific hire costs.

  • Cake sizes are approximate and can vary by up to 8% dependant upon cake type.

Storage Information

  • Cakes need to be stored in a cool, dark place (not in the fridge).
  • Sponge cakes will stay fresh for up to a week after delivery.
  • Fruit Cakes can last for several months.

Cake Delivery

  • I deliver free of charge to Calne and the close surrounding areas.� I am happy to deliver further afield at an additional charge.
  • All cakes are delivered boxed.
  • If Wedding Cakes are to be delivered to the venue on the day of the wedding, set up will be free of charge.

Cake Consultation

  • Getting the design of each cake to suit your specific occasion is the most important process of all. Everyone has their own ideas, whether in your head, cuttings or photographs.� I am here to help turn those ideas into your special cake.

    Please contact me to discuss your requirements or to arrange an appointment to talk through any ideas you may have.

Bespoke Designed Cakes

  • Whilst every effort will be made to interpret your ideas and requirements, it is not always possible to create exact specifications in icing, just a representation.

Payments and Deposits

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required for cakes.� This can be paid in cash, by cheque, bank transfer or Paypal – please contact me for details.
  • For celebration cakes, the remainder of the balance can be paid by cheque 1 week before the cake is needed or by cash on delivery.
  • For wedding cakes the remainder of the balance should be paid, 3 weeks prior to the wedding.
  • If a cake is ordered less than two weeks before it is required, payment will be requested in full.

  • Much of my business is gained through recommendation and I value your opinion about the cakes.� Please contact me with any comments or feedback.
  • Should there be a problem with a cake, I ask that you give me an opportunity to correct any errors on the day it is delivered.
