ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome, I am Trudy and I established JellyCake in 2009.

Having baked cakes and biscuits every Sunday with my Mum for as long as I can remember, it was a Christmas cake project in 6th Form Home Economics that fuelled my passion for cake decorating. I immediately began making cakes for family and friends and even had a Saturday job at the local cake decorating shop. My career took me into Marketing and HR and 20 years later, after the birth of my daughter, I decided to turn my hobby into a full-time business.

JellyCake is run from my home kitchen in Wiltshire. I use only the finest ingredients, sourcing them locally wherever possible, ensuring the cakes taste as amazing as they look.

Working closely with each client allows me to create a cake that is individually designed to compliment the style and theme of the occasion and I take great pride in attention to detail and customer satisfaction.

I have produced recipes and cake designs for cake decorating magazines and regularly have my wedding cakes featured in several industry magazines, both in the UK and abroad.  I am also a regular tutor for an international on-line cake school, filming in-depth wedding cake tutorials.
